COSMETIC BONDING AND TOOTH REPAIR

Cosmetic bonding is a great and cost-effective solution for chipped, broken, stained teeth and more! Have a small cavity? Dental bonding is a relatively inexpensive, economical solution for minor dental issues and repairs. Typically, bonding only requires a single office visit, and unless the bonding is used to fill a decayed tooth, anesthesia is often avoidable.

If you broke your tooth in an injury, don’t panic! Dental bonding is a highly-effective cosmetic procedure where a tooth-colored composite material is applied to the damaged area(s) of the tooth and sculpted to make it look new and natural again. The bond is then hardened with a curing light, “bonding” it to the tooth, and further shaped by our dentists to match your surrounding teeth – often indistinguishable from your original tooth! Once a suitable, comfortable fit is achieved, the bond is polished.

Usually, there is no recovery time, and after the proper hardening and curing time, a mere thirty to sixty minutes per tooth, you can normally expect full function. 

Aside from fixing discolored, broken, or chipped teeth, dental bonding is ideal for closing any small gaps between teeth, and sealing small cavities. This procedure gives the patient a more natural-looking and cosmetically appealing look when compared to Amalgam, or “silver,” fillings, and can help you smile again with confidence.
